SharePod

A few times now I’ve had to deal with iPods of various flavours. It’s never much fun, but I’ve always been loathe to install iTunes, cos (in my opinion, at least) it seems to be a little bit shit. When dealing with an iPod all I have ever wanted is a simple interface for moving media to/from it. Enter SharePod.

On Windows at least, SharePod seems to be the tool for the job. It’s been able to deal with any iPod I’ve ever connected to it, and is a much more pleasant experience to deal with than iTunes. Try it, you might like it!

Oh, and by the way, did I mention it was free? I like free. Free is a good thing.

It’s Just a Ride

“The world is like a ride at an amusement park and when you choose to go on it you think its real because that’s how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round, it has thrills and chills and it’s very brightly coloured and its very loud and its fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time and they begin to question: is this real or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered, and they come back to us and they say: hey, don’t worry, don’t be afraid, ever, because: this is just a ride.”

Kid Carpet : Make it Look Good

So, for those of you who care, I saw Kid Carpet while he was supporting Dan le Sac and Scroobius Pip at a gig recently. I was entertained. You could be too. I think this might have been my favourite track of his set, though this was fun, and ‘Can’t stop the pop’ was entertainingly silly.
